This is a prominent touerist attractions. Hawaii Tropical Botanical is a spectacular Garden - acclaimed as one of the most beautiful areas in Hawaii. Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens is spread over a 40-acre valley. The Garden displays a vast variety of enchanting palms, heliconias, delightful gingers, bromeliads, and hundreds of other rare and exotic plants from all over the tropical world.
Kekaha Hai (Kona Coast) State Park
This is one of the most prominent tourist attractions. Kekaha Kai (Kona Coast) is a splendid park. It is spread over 1,642.5 acre . The Mahaiula section has a sandy beach and dune offering opportunities for swimming and beach-related activities. You will enjoy picnicking along the beautiful picnic area which is equipped, with tables.
Adventure-seekers and hikers will be delighted to know that this Park has two hiking trails-On the North-side a 4.5-mile hike on historic coastal trail. Midway, a hike to the summit of Puu Kuili, a 342-foot high cinder cone, that offers an excellent view of the coastline.

This is one of the popular tourist attractions. Nani Mau in Hawaiian, means "forever beautiful". Nani Mau is a beautiful tropical garden. It is spread over 20-acres and has more than 2,000 varieties of tropical trees, import varieties of flowers and cascading waterfalls.
You will be delighted to see the fresh and fragile hibiscus, exquisite red anthuriums imported from South America. There are also a couple of Japanese gardens, an orchid walkway, a botanical museum and a restaurant that's open for lunch and dinner.

This is one of the prominent tourist attractions on the Big Island. Kaloko-Honokohau is a beautiful National Historical Park. This park is spread over 1160-acre and has historical significance.
Kaloko-Honokohau was established in 1978 for the preservation and interpretation of traditional native Hawaiian activities and culture. Resources include fishponds, kahua (house site platforms), kii pohaku (petroglyphs), holua (stone slide), and heiau (religious site). 
This Park offers unlimited hiking and camping opportunities. You will enjoy picnicking, fishing, swimming, bird watching, and surfing here . The Aimakapa and Kaloko Ponds are home to many exotic water birds-- Hawaiian coot, Hawaiian stilt, and migrants such as shovelers, pintails, and scaup. A Great way to get intimate with the Big Island!

This is one of the most popular tourist attractions. Hilo Tropical Gardens features a large variety of tropical plants laid out in a unique garden setting. The garden is spread over 40-acre and is nestled between the crashing surf and a thundering waterfall.
You will be delighted to see the beautiful collection of tropical plants that are inclusive of a torch ginger forest, a banyan canyon, an orchid garden, a banana grove, a bromeliad hill, and a golden bamboo grove. Some endangered Hawaiian 
specimens, such as the rare Gardenia remyi, are flourishing in this habitat. 
PU'UHONUA O HONAUNAU NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK

This is one of the most popular tourist attractions. Pu'uhonua O Honaunau is known as "place of refuge," is a hieau (place of workship). It offers an in-depth look at ancient Hawaiian life and royalty.
Don't forget to check out the carved-wood representations of ancient gods, the stone board for playing konane-- an ancient form of checkers played with black lava and white coral and the wonderful snorkeling found off the natural lava steps just north of the place of refuge.
